Eligibility includes:

Reside in the Charlottesville area

Be interested in working with young women
-
Be dependable and consistent in meeting time
-
Able to make a one-year commitment

Spend a minimum of four hours per month one-to-one with a LADY (mentee)

Attend an Orientation Workshop Session

Attend the Dare to Dream Workshop
-
Attend the workshops twice a month
-
Attend optional Mentor/LADY group events, activities, and program recognition events

Be willing to communicate regularly with Program Director(s), submit activity information, and take constructive feedback regarding mentoring activities

Have a clean criminal history with no use illicit drugs, alcohol, or controlled substances in an inappropriate manner
Are you a 14-18 year old Charlottesville female student? Consider being a LADY!
Eligibility includes:

Be a female between the ages of 14-18 yeas old
-
Attend a public high school or alternative school program near the LADYS Program

Be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
-
Demonstrate a strong desire to pursue a college or university degree
-
Be able to obtain parental consent and ongoing support for participation in the program
-
Agree to a one-year commitment to the program

Attend the Dare to Dream Workshop

Attend the workshops twice a month
